As school starts for all my friends and my little brothers, I can't help but feel a longing for the days of highschool past. I am excited to move onto the next part of my life, move to a new city, meet new people, but I also miss my highschool days.
Being so involved in several school activities I spent a lot of my time at my highschool. I spent more time there then I did at home for the most part. Hearing stories already of things happening within these school activities- jokes and antics-, and chats with old teachers that I came to rely on in the past four years has me feeling a little blue.
I am sure that once I get to school and am distracted with all of the new people and things going on I will feel a little less homesick for the school I love so dearly.
