School

I'm a new university student, and I'm having a blast- aside from the homesickness-. I've meet a lot of really great people and am enjoying my new city and new room, but I miss home.
I miss being able to wake up in the morning and spend time with my kitty and puppy, stopping to say hi to my birdie on my way downstairs. These rituals have been exchanged for late night parties going on in the hall outside my door, and waiting in my common room for the shower.

My suitemates are all goodpeople and I met some really cool people in my program today.

I can't wait to get home and see everyone again. Being away from home has already been an experience and I'm excited that I am starting a new chapter in my life.
